London: Rumer Willis, the daughter of actress Demi Moore, has revealed that she had a crush on Ashton Kutcher before her mom started dating him.
Thesun.co.uk quoted 20-year old Rumer as saying: "It was strange when mum, who is 15 years older than Ashton, started seeing him in 2003. I was 15 and he was a heart-throb to me - I had pictures of him on my wall!
"I remember mum saying her new 'friend' was going to hang out with us. I said: 'What's his name?' And she goes: 'Ashton'. And I said, 'Whoa - Ashton Kutcher?' I freaked out a bit and blushed. When he came round, though, it wasn't awkward. I realised I'd never seen mum happier. It was like watching two 16-year-olds going to the prom.”
Speaking of the relationship between her father Bruce Willis and Kutcher, she added: “Dad and Ashton get on really well. We go on holidays together and have a great time, so I've never felt like I have two families. Dad is still a typical dad. He pretends he's macho and tells people how he vets our boyfriends, but it's not true. He's always so sweet to them. Scout has had a boyfriend for two years, and everyone loves him - he's even been on holidays with us.
"Ashton's like a father figure too, in that I respect him and ask his advice. But he's also someone I can relate to, so I see him more as an older brother or uncle. Recently, I wanted to have my braces removed and Ashton said, 'I'll make you a deal. You can get them off if you work for my dad at his construction company'. So I did. He wanted me to realise you have to earn the things you want in life.”
