It was the scary crow in PHOONK a fortnight back and now it would be a friendly donkey in TAHAAN this week. Well, Bollywood certainly seems to have been fascinated with birds and animals in last few weeks.
A crow playing an integral part in Ram Gopal Varma's scare fest PHOONK is still remembered by the chunk of people who saw the film a few days back. Boasting of screen time as big as the other main characters in the film (ok, so this one is a little exaggerated!), the crow was indeed a center of attraction in all the drama which was generated in the film.
However, things are expected to be a little on the lighter note with the donkey not really being menacing in TAHAAN which releases today. Here too, an animal is the center of attraction as the young boy (central protagonist by the name of Tahaan) is shown to be affectionate about his pet animal and as someone who would go all out to ensure that the two are together, whatever be the cost.
Incidentally, though the crow didn't quite have a name given by Ramu, the donkey has been fortunate enough to be called 'Birbal' in the film.
