Remember Heat and The Godfather ll? The magical chemistry is still there as the two veterans play NYPD cops who are trying to nab a psycopath; but age does seem to be catching up with two of Hollywood's greatest. The duo have partenered each other successfully for several years in the crime-infested streets of New York. Now, one of the them (Robert DeNiro) is under suspicion by his own department, since most of the victims of the serial murders seem to have some connection with his past. While partner Pacino is willing to go out of his way to save his buddy, he must contend with internecine hostility, as a bunch of rivals cops try their best to nail the invincible twosome. Watch out for the hard-hitting climax, where Pacino displays his powerhouse histrionics, while DeNiro stands up, rock firm and solid.
