Bollywood superstar and producer-director Aamir Khan has dedicated his new film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na to uncle Nasir Hussain as a gesture of gratitude for providing him a platform in the romantic blockbuster Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak .
The debutant hero of 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' Imran Khan is the grandson of Nasir Hussain, who had launched Aamir in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’
Sources close to Aamir said the actor has prepared a brief handwritten letter to his 'chachajaan' acknowledging the late filmmaker's contribution to his success as an actor.
Aamir has planned to release the letter with every print of 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. "Aamir feels he has come a full circle. Nasirsaab gave Aamir a dream debut way back in 1988. Nasirsaab's son Mansoor Khan gave Aamir
some of his memorable films like 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' and 'Akele Hum Akele Tum," a source said.
Nasir Hussain has been one of the biggest producers of 60s and 70s having made blockbusters like ‘Teesri Manzil’, ‘Yaadon ki Baarat’, ‘Tumsa Nahi Dekha’ and ‘Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai’ among others.
