Chopra denies row with Big B over Ash

Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films has dismissed speculations of an alleged argument between Vinod Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan regarding the casting of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Talismaan. "Ms Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was never approached for the film and neither have the Bachchans approached us on her behalf," a press release from the director stated. "Talismaan is inspired by the novel Chandrakanta and will be directed by ad film-maker Ram Madhvani. The cast is yet to be finalised. It will be announced at an appropriate time. We request everyone to ignore the baseless rumours and speculations,” the statement added.
