Shruti Haasan enters Bollywood with 'Luck'

The multi-talented daughter of actor Kamal Haasan is set to embark on a Bollywood career.

Shruti Haasan , who is also a rock singer, has signed director Soham Shah’s next film Luck in which she is paired with Imran Khan , the nephew of Aamir Khan .

Soham Shah says he wanted a new actress who was capable of doing action and Shruti suited the role perfectly. However, the 21-year-old girl did not give her nod straightaway when Soham approached her for the role. Shruti consulted with her dad Kamal Haasan . It was only after getting a go-ahead from her father did Shruti finally sign the film.

Now, Shruti would begin training under action director Allan Amin for her stunts in the film.

The shooting of ‘Luck’ is slated to begin in South Africa from July 8, just four days after the release of Imran Khan’s first film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na .

Besides Imran and Shruti, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt , Mithun Chakraborty , Danny Denzongpa and Ravi Kishen.

Even as Shruti enters Bollywood, music still remains her dearest passion. Not many know that she has learned music from an institute in Hollywood.
