After testing the waters with Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic , director-cum-producer Kunal Kohli is ready to produce more projects.

Slowly but surely, Kunal is becoming independent of Yashraj Films , the banner that has produced his three previous films – Mujhse Dosti Karoge , Hum Tum and Fanaa . Kohli has embarked into production with ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ which is jointly produced by his company Kunal Kohli Productions and YRF.

And in the future, Kohli has bigger production plans. He plans to take a deeper plunge into film production by producing as many as four films in the coming year.

The first movie will be directed by Kohli himself. It would be a light-hearted political satire with good doses of humour.

For the next three projects, Kohli will be giving chances to his assistants – Vicky Bahri, Danish Aslam and Bony Gandhi – who have worked dedicatedly with him for years.

Kohli says he takes his own sweet time (normally two years) to direct a film, but his production house will churn out about three-four movies every year.

Kohli adds that he will tie up with other production houses as well for some his projects.

As of now, the director-producer is totally focused on his latest release ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee .
