Saif to go for Euro

Saif Ali Khan may get a bout of football fever. The actor has been invited to attend the Portugal vs Switzerland match, which will be held at Basel on June 15.

Saif, a football fan himself, is shooting in London at present and has received the invite. But whether he can make it to Switzerland or not is dependent on his schedule. Another Indian who has confirmed his presence at the match is Indian ODI vice-captain Yuvraj Singh. He is playing in the India-Pakistan-Bangladesh tri-series being held in Bangladesh, and will be flying down from there. Says a source, “Saif has been invited to Switzerland by the same company which is taking Yuvi. He will be giving away the man of the match award at the Euro clash.”

But can Chhote Nawab make it? Answers filmmaker Kunal Kohli on Saif’s behalf, “Yes, the organisers have contacted Saif and have invited him. He will definitely try to be there but nothing is confirmed as of now.” Now we sure hope Saif makes it, but what with the reputation of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo with Indian actresses (remember the almost-kiss with Bipasha?), he should better leave lady love Kareena behind!
