George Michael apologises to fans after drug arrest

Pop star George Michael has apologised to his fans after being arrested for possessing crack cocaine and cannabis.

He was held in underground lavatories on Hampstead Heath, North London—a meeting place for gay men on Friday, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Michael apologised for "screwing up again" and promised to "sort myself out" in a statement released on Sunday night.

The incident is the latest scandal surrounding the singer since his arrest in a toilet in Beverley Hills, USA, 10 years ago for engaging in a lewd act.
