Heather Mills on image repair spree

Heather Mills is on an image revamp post her ugly divorce battle with Beatles legend Paul McCartney.

Mills, 40, who won a £24.3 million settlement from McCartney earlier this year, was photographed with a children's entertainer dressed as a fluffy pig at a New York charity bash. She has promised to give 2,800 under privileged children $1 million worth of veggie burgers and hot dogs in a three-year healthy eating programme, reports thesun.co.uk.

It was an attempt to rehabilitate her image after the bitter divorce settlement in which a judge branded her "devoid of reality" and her "own worst enemy" for her "ridiculous" settlement claims—she had sought £125 million from McCartney after a four-year marriage.

She said: "I want to help make sure they have as many nutritional advantages as anyone else."

Mills is also planning to appear in a documentary and tell her side of the marriage story.

An insider said: "Heather reckons she's been very badly treated by the media so she wants to redress that balance and change people's perceptions."

Louis Theroux feels Mills would make an interesting subject.

He said: "She needs to show her side of the story which, for one reason or another, isn't coming through."
