Garam Gossip: Big B turns patriotic, Sanjay Dutt to enter politics

While Amitabh Bachchan is set to turn patriotic on the big screen, Sanjay Dutt is slated to enter politics in real life.

Garam gossips keep the wheels of rumour mills turning in Bollywood. Here’s an update of the latest buzz from B-Town.

Big B turns patriotic

Yup, the superstar is set to team up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali again in a film called ‘Chenab Gandhi’. But the flick won’t be directed by Bhansali. Instead, the filmmaker’s trusted assistant Vibhu Puri will hold the directorial reins. And the real scoop is that Big B will play an unsung patriotic hero in the flick.

Munna banega Mantri

Munnabhai is set to become a mantri. We’re not kidding. Sanjay Dutt is set to follow the footprints of his illustrious dad and sister Priya Dutt. The actor has confirmed to a news channel that he is thinking of contesting elections. When asked which party he would join, the jolly Dutt remarked: “pehle ticket toh milne do”. If things go well, the abhineta would soon turn into a neta.

Madhuri ready for dhak dhak

Madhuri Dixit is ready to show her dance steps again. However, this time it won’t be for a big budget movie, but the Bachchans’ upcoming ‘The Unforgettable Tour’. Madhuri, who lives in Denver with her doctor husband and kids, would reportedly join the Bachchans only on the North American leg of the tour. There is also a chance that she might shake her leg with none other than her Devdaas co-star Aishwarya Rai on the ‘Dola Re’ song.

Kajol’s Cameo

We hear Kajol will be doing a cameo in producer Kumar Mangat’s film Haal-e-Dil . Since the film launches Amita Pathak , the daughter of Mangat who has been Ajay Devgan’s secretary for years, Ajay and Kajol have been involved with the project from the start. For instance, Ajay helped finalize the film’s male cast opposite Amita. And now Kajol’s cameo in the flick might just pull some extra crowd to the theatres.
