Real life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are being sought by production houses for Bollywood projects.
Saif may not have been able to rope in Bebo in his first home production to be directed by Imtiaz Ali , but the actor needn’t fret over it. For, other production houses are more than willing to cast the lovers together on the big screen.
Karan Johar has already signed the two for a film to be directed by Rensil D’Souza and to be made under Johar’s banner Dharma Productions. Now, Ashtavinayak Films is said to be in advanced talks with Saif and Kareena for an action comedy.
Undeterred by the lack of any sparkling chemistry between Saif and Kareena in the latest Yashraj Films misadventure Tashan , Ashtavinayak is keen to cash in on the jodi of Saif and Kareena.
Bebo, by the way, has a three-film deal with the banner. She has already acted in Ashtavinayak’s Jab We Met and the upcoming Golmaal Returns .
Saif, on the other hand, has expressed his interest in producing a film starring him and Kareena. But he says he won’t do it just for the heck of it. He would go ahead only if there is a script that requires them to be cast together. Well, that’s called professionalism over pyaar.
The actor is presently gearing up for his first home production co-starring Deepika Padukone .
