Morissette, Amos put row behind

Rocker Alanis Morissette and singer Tori Amos have cleared up a misunderstanding created by the latter's negative comment about the Canadian crooner's album in an interview.

Morissette confessed that she was a little confused when Amos had said that her hugely popular album Jagged Little Pill made her ears hurt. Morissette decided to confront her later on this when they were touring together, contactmusic.com reports.

Morissette said: "I was, 'All right, what do you have to say for yourself?' She apologised profusely."

However, Morissette now believes that the album, released 13 years ago, might have been harsh for some. She said: "She is (Amos) right... It was a record that didn't rhyme, and to some ears sounded really abrasive."
